School Easter Party

Since this week is Annah's Spring Break, her class had their Easter party last Friday. I love going to her class and seeing her interact with all the kids. She is really coming out of her shell. Still on the shy side, but making huge strides. The kids were so cute "hunting" (they were not so much "hidden" as they were laying in plain sight) their eggs. One ig sugar-rush later, we were off to the beach for spring break...

My dear friend Alle welcomed her first child into the world last Tuesday. Henry is happy, healthy, and just beautiful! I am so happy for you, Alle and Beau! Welcome to the roller-coaster ride of being a parent! Annah keeps asking when she gets to go to Henry's (no longer Aunt Alle's) house. Liam doesn't know it yet, but he and Henry are sure to be great friends as they grow up. Hugs and kisses to the entire Kaneft family!

Girls (and Boy) Just Wanna Have Fun

Friday after school, Laura and her girls came over for lunch. Laura and I thought we could get some exercise (and wear the kiddos out too) by walking to the park in our neighborhood. It was a little cool in the shade, but otherwise a gorgeous day! I think we all had fun!

Preppy Boy

On a completely different note, we had Belle spayed today...When we decided to get another Lab, I had a vision of a sleepy, lazy dog who would lay on the cool hardwood floors all day (think Yellow Dog from "Funny Farm"). Belle is definitely not there yet. But, after picking her up from the vet, the answer is suddenly very clear to me. What Belle has been needing all along is some good narcotics! Unfortunately, we only got enough to get us through today...

Hope He Starts Feeling Better

So very early this morning we got Liam up and went to Camden to get Liam's tubes. Seeing my baby in a hospital gown may be one of the saddest sights ever! Hope it is something I never have to see again. He did have another infection, which makes me feel better about having the tubes done. I hope this is our turning point and Liam starts feeling much better (and sleeping much better too) very soon!

Corn Eating Fool x2

OK, here's the background...Annah has always loved corn on the cob. When I was in the hospital having Liam, mom made her some and told her she had done that because she knew how much she liked corn. To which Annah said, "My mommy said I am a corn eating fool!" I am sure I did say that, but I think it's funny that she remembered. Well, it seems she might have some competition. I gave Liam his first corn on the cob tonight and it was a hit!!!
