Girls (and Boy) Just Wanna Have Fun

Friday after school, Laura and her girls came over for lunch. Laura and I thought we could get some exercise (and wear the kiddos out too) by walking to the park in our neighborhood. It was a little cool in the shade, but otherwise a gorgeous day! I think we all had fun!

Preppy Boy

On a completely different note, we had Belle spayed today...When we decided to get another Lab, I had a vision of a sleepy, lazy dog who would lay on the cool hardwood floors all day (think Yellow Dog from "Funny Farm"). Belle is definitely not there yet. But, after picking her up from the vet, the answer is suddenly very clear to me. What Belle has been needing all along is some good narcotics! Unfortunately, we only got enough to get us through today...

Hope He Starts Feeling Better

So very early this morning we got Liam up and went to Camden to get Liam's tubes. Seeing my baby in a hospital gown may be one of the saddest sights ever! Hope it is something I never have to see again. He did have another infection, which makes me feel better about having the tubes done. I hope this is our turning point and Liam starts feeling much better (and sleeping much better too) very soon!

Corn Eating Fool x2

OK, here's the background...Annah has always loved corn on the cob. When I was in the hospital having Liam, mom made her some and told her she had done that because she knew how much she liked corn. To which Annah said, "My mommy said I am a corn eating fool!" I am sure I did say that, but I think it's funny that she remembered. Well, it seems she might have some competition. I gave Liam his first corn on the cob tonight and it was a hit!!!

Enjoying the Weather

You absolutely cannot beat the weather we have had for the past week! We have been trying to make the most of it and have been outside just about every day. Last Friday we met Laura and her girls, Keri and her crew, and a few other moms and kids at Pooh Park for lunch and some outside fun. We were all tired when we left (and very dirty) so you know we had a great time!

We spent Monday afternoon at the barn. It was sunny and 80 degrees...perfect!

Tuesday we went to the zoo. It was so nice and after a late-night ER visit, we needed to relax!

Flamingo Island was created in memory of Will's Nanny. We always end a trip to the zoo with a picture at Nanny's "Baflingos"
