Friday after school, Laura and her girls came over for lunch. Laura and I thought we could get some exercise (and wear the kiddos out too) by walking to the park in our neighborhood. It was a little cool in the shade, but otherwise a gorgeous day! I think we all had fun!

Preppy BoyOn a completely different note, we had Belle spayed today...When we decided to get another Lab, I had a vision of a sleepy, lazy dog who would lay on the cool hardwood floors all day (think Yellow Dog from "Funny Farm"). Belle is definitely not there yet. But, after picking her up from the vet, the answer is suddenly very clear to me. What Belle has been needing all along is some good narcotics! Unfortunately, we only got enough to get us through today...
