This is a conversation Liam and I had today (mostly he had, I repeated). I will translate following his words, but see if you can figure it out on your own...
"Mama. Alle house. Henny. Ooowww. Firetruck. Boom. Copper fly! Shirt fly!"
And now, the translation: "Hey Mama, do you remember when we went to Aunt Alle's house the other day? Remember how Henry hit his head on the fireplace 'boom!' He cried, ooowww! On the way home I saw a helicopter. They fly! I have airplanes on my shirt...they fly too!"
Did you get that?
I know that this is true for all moms--to understand what your child is saying, even when no one else can make sense of it at all. Just thought it was funny!
